Bruce Mutsvairo is a full professor in the Department of Media and Cultural Studies at Utrecht University where he doubles as the UNESCO chair on Data, Disinformation, and Democracy. He has published over 20 scholarly books and special-themed issues in high-impact journals, focusing mostly on the development of journalism in authoritarian contexts.
