Editorial Board Members

Syed Ali Hussain (PhD) is an assistant professor in the College of Communication at the University of Sharjah, UAE. His research concerns health communication, intercultural communication, and persuasion. Hussain’s qualifications include an MA (Fulbright scholarship), and a PhD (2018) from Michigan State University (MSU). Hussain’s PhD research was funded by USAID, the National Science Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Hussain graduated with an outstanding doctoral student award. Hussain also has international work experience with USAID (2008–2010) and Save the Children (2010–2012) on public health communication projects in the earthquake and flood-hit communities in Pakistan.
