Editorial Board Members

Dr. Brandon Prins is professor of Political Science at the University of Tennessee and Head of the Department of Political Science.

His research interests involve the conditions associated with political and economic violence, including interstate and civil war, terrorism, and maritime crime. The US Office of Naval Research, Y-12 National Security Complex, and the National Nuclear Security Administration have funded Dr. Prins’ research.

Dr. Prins serves as Lead Editor for the journal International Studies Quarterly and he is currently working on a research project that explores the underlying causes of maritime crime and conflict in the Indo-Pacific region funded through the US Department of Defense Minerva Initiative.
