Anne Elizabeth Stie is head of the Department of Political Science and Management at the University of Agder. Her main research interests are related to questions about the preconditions for democracy beyond the nation-state, the institutions and decision-making processes of the EU, trilogies, deliberative democracy, accountability, transparency and the EU/EEA and Norway. Her latest book is Democratic Decision-Making in the EU: Technocracy in Disguise?
