Yasuko Kameyama, Ph.D., is Professor at Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the University of Tokyo. Until March 2023, she held a position at National Institute for Environmental Studies, Japan, as director of Social Systems Division. Her background is international relations, and her works have focused on multilateral negotiation process on climate change, climate security, and sustainable development. She spent a year in 1999-2000 as a visiting researcher at the Department of Government and Politics, University of Maryland. One of her latest publications is Climate Change Policy in Japan: From the 1980s to 2015 (Routledge, 2017).
