Ferdi De Ville is Assistant Professor in European Politics at Ghent University. His main area of expertise is the political economy of the European Union. More specifically, Ferdi studies the EU’s trade policies, monetary policies and social policies, and the nexuses between those. He has published widely on these topics in prestigious journals, and is the author of two books: TTIP: The Truth about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (Polity Press, with Gabriel Siles-Brügge) and Rising Powers and Economic Crisis in the Euro Area (Palgrave, with Mattias Vermeiren).
