Darren Davis is the Snyder Family Mission Endowed Professor of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. He specializes in political behavior, political psychology, elections and voting, and racial attitudes. Professor Davis is the author of three books: Negative Liberty: Public Opinion and the Terrorist Attacks on America (Russell Sage Foundation), Perseverance in the Parish: Religious Attitudes from a Black Catholic Perspective (Cambridge University Press), and Racial Resentment in the Political Mind (University of Chicago Press).
