Martin Elff is professor of Political Sociology at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. His research interests are the changing patterns of electoral behaviour, parties' ideological positions and their measurement, the role of knowledge and information in opinion formation, and quantitative methods of political science. His research has been published in various journals, such as Electoral Studies, Perspectives on Politics and Political Analysis.
