Monica Budowski is professor of Social Policy and Social Work at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Previously, Monica was scientific head of the Swiss Household Panel at the University of Neuchâtel and research fellow at the London School of Economics, Princeton University, and the Universidad de Costa Rica. Her research interests are poverty, social inequalities, households and family, health, social policy in countries of the global South, gender, social support, and social networks.
