Editorial Board Members

Irene Kriesi is head of the research area on “Strategic planning of the VET/PET system” at the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in Switzerland. She holds a doctorate in Sociology from the University of Zurich. Her research interests are educational trajectories, school-to-work transitions, occupational careers and social inequality, with a specific focus on gender inequalities. She has broad experience in conducting quantitative longitudinal education and career surveys.
