Prof. Dr. Florian Koch, spatial planner and urban sociologist, is Professor of Real Estate Management, Smart Cities and Urban Development at the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW Berlin). He analyses how digital, smart technologies and social innovations can contribute to sustainable development in cities. He is the spokesperson for the Sustainable Smart Cities research cluster at the HTW Berlin and an expert on local sustainability management.
