Dr Seth Asare Okyere is a development planner and a visiting assistant professor at the University of Arizona, USA. He holds a visiting associate professor role at Osaka University, Japan. His research broadly intersects international development, sustainable urbanism, community resilience and social equity. He is particularly interested in uncovering and addressing socio-spatial inequities and socio-environmental stressors in everyday people-built environment interactions through community-based collaborative approaches to equitable and resilient futures. His research, teaching, and community engagement experience span Africa, Southern Europe, Asia, and North America.
