Dr Michael Edéma Leary-Owhin has an international reputation for excellence in the fields of urban regeneration and the production of urban public space. He has over 30 years’ experience in academia, research, consultancy and practice. He regularly presents his research at major international conferences. His research has been published in many journal articles. He is the author of a research monograph, Exploring the Production of Urban Space, published by Policy Press and the co-editor of two Routledge Handbooks. He is currently working as an independent researcher, including a project which is exploring the impacts of Covid-19 on the production of urban public space.
