A/professor Lan Ding is the convenor of High-Performance Architecture Research Cluster at the UNSW Built Environment, and STANDARDS Australia committee member, IT-268 Sustainable Cities and Communities. Her research areas include smart sustainable cities and communities, urban interventions related to cooling cities and streetscapes and protecting the health of the vulnerable, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) application in smart energy management at the precinct scale. Lan has led over 16 large research projects in Australia and secured research over AUD 6 million in funding.
